The vineyard of " Chemin Royal " is belonging to the Chanfreau family, also owner of the famous Château Fonreaud, Listrac Cru bourgeois. It stretches along the ancient roman road of wines, then crossing the slopes of Fonreaud. In 1962, Léo Chanfreau took over this old farm belonging to Chateau Fonreaud and restored the vineyard with a majority of Merlot. The old Cabernet Sauvignon were retained on the Puy de Menjon.
In the nose aromas of violet, toasted bred, caramel & sweet, pleasant full bodied mouth
